Porsche has taken a bold step into the future of performance by electrifying its most powerful street car yet. The legendary 911 Turbo S has officially gone hybrid, combining cutting-edge electrification with classic German engineering.
701 Horsepower of Hybrid Power
At the heart of this groundbreaking model is a twin-turbo 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a “T-Hybrid” electric motor. Together, they deliver an astonishing 701 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 to date.
This setup propels the new Turbo S from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, two-tenths quicker than its predecessor. Beyond raw speed, Porsche reports a 14-second improvement on its Nürburgring lap time, highlighting major advances in agility and handling.
Upgrades for Precision and Control
To manage its increased power, the 911 Turbo S introduces several major enhancements. The model features the largest carbon-ceramic brake system ever fitted to a 911, along with wider rear tires for maximum grip.
Active aerodynamics — including cooling flaps and an adjustable rear wing — help maintain stability, even at the car’s 200 mph top speed.
A Price Tag for the Future
The new hybrid supercar doesn’t come cheap. Pricing starts at $270,300 USD for the coupe and $284,300 USD for the cabriolet, with the first deliveries expected in Spring 2026.
For Porsche, this model represents more than just evolution — it’s a milestone in performance electrification, showing that speed, innovation, and sustainability can coexist in a single, breathtaking package.
