Who doesn't love a great American comeback story? Especially when it comes to American manufacturing roaring back to life. In a time when so many factories have gone quiet and jobs have headed overseas, there's nothing more inspiring than seeing innovation, grit, and determination put American workers back on the assembly line, by those who build the future right here on U.S. soil. That's exactly what's happening right now at Faraday Future's impressive vehicle manufacturing and assembly factory in Hanford, California, which they call their “FF AI-Factory.” Recently, on December 21, the first pre-production FX Super One MPV rolled off the line at this factory. Against many obstacles and after years of doubters saying it couldn't be done, Faraday Future is proving that American manufacturing and assembly isn't dead. It's electrified and ready to lead the world.

The company transformed a former tire plant into the state-of-the-art FF AI-Factory California, a 1.1 million-square-foot hub with approximately $300 million invested to date. This investment is putting American workers back on the job and positioning the plant for high-volume production, with the Hanford AI-Factory having the capacity to output more than 30,000 vehicles annually once additional funding and permits are secured Faraday Future launched in May 2014, founded by visionary entrepreneur YT Jia and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The Company set out to revolutionize electric vehicles with cutting-edge technology, user-focused design, and an innovative sales model. Named after pioneering scientist Michael Faraday, whose discovery of electromagnetic induction powers electric motors, it aimed to create a new wave of intelligent mobility solutions. By early 2016, the team had grown to over 1,000 employees, building excitement as a potential leader in American EV innovation. Like many bold startups in this competitive field, however, Faraday Future soon faced financial hurdles, funding questions, and project delays that tested its early momentum.

The challenges continued in the following years. In 2018, a key investment partnership shifted, prompting further staff adjustments and a focus on efficiency. By 2019, leadership was shifting again as YT Jia stepped down as CEO, only to return to the position this past year. Faraday Future continued to work through facility and operational hurdles as it streamlined toward production.

Through all these setbacks, timelines continued to stretch further and further. Whispers grew louder in the industry and among observers that Faraday Future would never actually roll a production vehicle off the line. Many wrote the company off entirely, but Faraday Future finally rolled off its first vehicle in Hanford as it officially started production of its FF 91 luxury electric vehicle in March 2023 at its California factory, marking the first vehicle off the line in April 2023, with initial deliveries beginning in mid-2023 to early adopters. Since then, the Company continues to produce FF 91 models in Hanford and recently announced its latest delivery for the Company’s next FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance vehicle with Hebron Sher, CEO of ZEVO, on December 22, 2025, with a delivery ceremony to be held in January 2026.

With renewed focus, Faraday Future is committed to revitalizing American assembly by expanding its lineup to include the FX Super One MPV, a new innovative, affordable mass market vehicle from FF’s second brand, Faraday X (FX). And that's how Faraday Future ended 2025, riding the wave of America's comeback. Deliveries of the innovative FX Super One began in the Middle East in late November. Then, on December 21, the company achieved a historic milestone when the first pre-production FX Super One multi-purpose vehicle rolled off the line at the Hanford facility. This premium mass-market MPV, available with all-wheel drive and advanced powertrain options, including a hybrid-extended range and all electric motors, represents a critical step toward mass production of Faraday's second model after the flagship FF 91.

As Company Founder and Global Co-CEO YT Jia declared: “The successful roll-off of the first FX Super One marks a critical initial step before mass production and delivery, and the achievement of our top KPI for year 2025.” Moving into 2026, Faraday Future held its first Stockholders’ Day in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 7, that included a number of business updates and a major product preview:

The updates included sharing comprehensive milestone targets for the FX Super One this year, including production, sales, delivery and service along with the Company’s five-year business execution strategy, which plans for between 400,000-500,000 cumulative units, mainly driven by the FX Super One, a planned future FX 4 model, and other planned models. The Company also announced an EAI (Embodied AI) robotics strategy under its upgraded Global EAI Industry Bridge strategy with sales beginning in Q1 of this year with positive contribution margin. This dual-track growth model could provide a new growth curve for FF that will include EAI vehicles and EAI robotics.

This is more than a company comeback. It's proof that American ingenuity, backed by bold leadership and hardworking teams on the factory floor, can still build the future: one powerful, intelligent, electric vehicle at a time. The best chapters of this great American story are just beginning.
