H. Moser & Cie. And MB&F Reveal Their Collaborative Performance Art Timepiece in Geneva

H. Moser & Cie. and MB&F have teased their collaboration for the upcoming Only Watch auction, but no previews or further information regarding their joint timepiece were revealed for months — until now. On the occasion of Geneva Watch Days, the two watchmakers have finally shared the first look at their Streamliner Pandamonium novelty piece.

Described by the makers as a one-of-a-kind “Performance Art piece,” the 42.3mm timepiece comes adorned with a unique and sculptural design on its dial. As an amalgamation of both Maisons’ DNA, the watch stars an alluring Aquamarine fumé dial, where logos and indices have been completely omitted. The minute repeater complication has been specifically modified to house a flying balance wheel, which appears afloat beneath the domed sapphire crystal.

Dedicated to music, a miniature DJ panda can be spotted on the dial, with hammers and a chiming mechanism posing as the turntable and mixing desk. The panda mascot is crafted from white gold and is entirely hand-decorated. In tying in with the theme, an engraved panda paw motif can be found on its screw-down crown.

Estimated to fetch between 300,000 – 400,000CHF ( approximately $341,463 – $455,284 USD), the H. Moser & Cie. x MB&F Streamliner Pandamonium will be offered up for auction at this year’s Only Watch on November 5. For more information regarding the event, visit Only Watch’s official website.
