First Look: Audi Unveils Concept C, A Bold Reinvention Inspired by the TT

Audi revives the spirit of the TT

Audi has taken the wraps off its radical new Concept C, a design study that pays homage to the legendary TT while laying the foundation for the brand’s future design language. Revealed in Milan, Italy, the two-seater concept signals a bold new era for the Four Rings.

Design rooted in Audi history

At the heart of the Concept C is a striking new “vertical frame” front grille. This design draws inspiration from the 1936 Auto Union Type C and the 2004 Audi A6, both of which played key roles in shaping Audi’s identity. The boxier, more upright design of the grille is paired with a bold staging of the Four Rings emblem, creating a front fascia that’s both futuristic and steeped in heritage.

TT DNA with a modern twist

While futuristic, the Concept C openly channels elements of the iconic Audi TT. It features a two-seater layout with a retractable hard-top roof, flared rear fenders, and 21-inch wheels reminiscent of the TT’s signature six-spoke design—though updated with hollow spokes and a dual-tone finish. Dynamic headlights and taillights change their appearance depending on the time of day, adding to the car’s distinctive dual identity. Other aggressive exterior touches include forged carbon fiber side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a sharp front splitter.

A minimalist, high-tech interior

Inside, Audi emphasizes “clarity,” blending minimalism with cutting-edge tech. The dashboard features a fixed digital gauge cluster, a fold-away infotainment tablet, and a haptic “Audi Click” icon bar for quick functions. Ambient lighting is subtly integrated to create warmth without distraction, while the interior materials combine fiber seats and sustainable leather alternatives for a sleek yet eco-conscious finish.

A bold step forward

The Concept C is more than just a design study—it represents Audi’s commitment to reimagining its design DNA while honoring its most beloved models. With a nod to the TT and a vision of the future, the Concept C positions Audi at the intersection of heritage, innovation, and sustainability.
