Danny Brown Announces New Album STARDUST and Upcoming Tour

Danny Brown is back with big news. The Detroit rapper has confirmed that his seventh studio album, STARDUST, will be released on November 7, alongside plans for a supporting tour.

A 14-Track Return

STARDUST marks Brown’s first major project since the Quaranta era, which wrapped in October 2024 with the release of Quaranta (Deluxe). The upcoming album will span 14 tracks and feature an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Quadeca, underscores, Frost Children, Jane Remover, JOHNNASCU, 8485, IssBrokie, Femtanyl, Nnamdi, Ta Ukrainka, and Zheani.

Lead Single Sets the Tone

To kick off the rollout, Brown dropped the first single, “Starburst”, offering fans a taste of what’s to come. The track blends his signature raw energy with experimental production, hinting at the bold direction of the new record.

A Shift in Sound and Storytelling

In an Instagram post, Brown described STARDUST as a project showcasing “a new level of vulnerability and creative clarity”, while also embracing “a newfound lightness—sharp, inventive and unafraid to challenge conventional production and storytelling.” The album promises to balance Brown’s trademark unpredictability with an introspective edge.
